Sunny day
In the cradle, the baby sonobe was trying to sleep. The bird was watching him at the shade of the little bed, while singing a lullaby.
I had this amazing paper with spring designes and I thought a lot what to fold with it. I oscilated between this sonobe variation and star sea kusudama (designed by Tomoko Fuse). I eventually choosed the sonobe. It is very handy for me to fold it since I made this model so many times. I also like how the modules have 2 layers and when combined, the corners look like little nests. I accesorized it with 2 small sonobes (one of 12 modules and one of 6 modules), with Dinara flowers and with the bird I've tried on the arrangement from one of my previous posts. I really adore this bird (not as much as I adore the mandarin bird but this is another story).
