Dreams of Freedom

It's Spring outside. The magnolias are in bloom. The sun is bathing everything into the light. Through the open window, a concert of birds is squeezing its sound into the room. The caged bird, tired of echoing the sound outside, breaks free and flies into the blue sky. But her flight is short, because she is out of shape from her sedentarism. So, she sits on a magnolia branch and takes a deep breath. Awash in the flowers perfume, she starts to sing a joyful song.
