Preview - Sakura tornillo

The Sakura tree is full of flowers, so I wanted to hurry folding my kusudama with little sakura patterns in order to make some pictures while the flowers are still in bloom.
I have this wonderful origami paper (from Tuttle Publishing) which reminds me of Van Gogh's painting. I have it for a couple of years now, and I limited myself at admiring it since I could not manage to gather the courage to fold it. I was afraid I would ruin it with an inappropriate model. In the end I chose the Paolo Bascetta's Great Stellated Dodecahedron model. It does not look like a flower just yet... but have a surprise for tomorrow.
