The Mu Family - Paper Mobile
Remember the cute cow that wanted to reach the sky? Well, she did, and then, she just forgot to return home. Time passed by, and her origami family was worried. Where is she? Did something happen to her? The Mu family wanted to go searching for the lost child. So, they built a paper mobile, jumped in it and waited for the wind to go wild. They flew away on the merry-go-round until they got dizzy and they got stuck into a tree. They were so dizzy that they forgot why they left home, and they just admired the green pastures (with tiny white flowers).
With this post I end the series of cute paper cows (at least for this year). Summer is here and I am dreaming of poppies and sunflowers. I missed making a paper mobile, though. Also, I missed making the origami spheres from muffin paper. They are simple models folded from 24 sheets and the model is called Kusudama Bloom. Of course, the original design uses square sheets, not round ones, but the steps in the diagram are the same. You can see how it is made here.
I folded again the Bouganville Kusudama using the last sheets from the lovely purple origami paper with white daisies printed on it. Dots on the muffin paper, daisies on the origami paper and spots on the cows. Cute, isn't it?
