Spring is in the air
Flowers, birds and sunshine. All gathered together into this origami display. Different shades of purple and a tint of dark-yellow. Feels like Spring, isn't it?
The kusudama is Amazonia Brazil, designed by Flaviane Koti. It is a modular model, made from 30 modules with paper ratio 1:3. I folded it once for an Autumn Origami Project and I waited since then to find an occasion to fold it again using different colors. I wanted to make it pink because it looks like a bouquet of sakura flowers. But I choose purple (with polka dots) instead.
I added a couple of birds (Manadrin birds, designed by Simon Anderson) , a couple of classic origami lilies and a couple of modular sakura flowers.
