Late Spring Narcissus Flowers

This is the last day of Spring. Summer will start tomorrow. Just like that, with one-page turn in the calendar. In my yard I still have one narcissus in bloom. I also have a couple of them in my house, made from paper, folded using different shades of yellow. Origami paper flowers will just bring the memory of your favorite Season every time you look at them. I like gathering paper flowers into kusudamas (origami flower balls). They look nice like this and they can be used as a decoration by hanging them at the window handler, at a drawer knob or on a corner of the mirror.
This Spring origami decoration is made from two kusudamas. One is pretty simple (the middle one) and it consists of 12 paper modules. The model is called kusudama Bouganville and the designer is Isa Klein. It is a cute and easy model, but since it has sharp corners it has to be handled with care or it will bend quickly. The other kusudama ball is pretty complex (it has 106 modules). It consists of an Electra base (30 modules) and 32 modular flowers (20 yellow and 12 cream with green). They are accessorized with 3 narcissus and 4 leaves.
