Spring is here

Even if today is a cloudy day (with a couple of rain drops from time to time) the birds are chirping, the air is warm and it finally feels like Spring. So, if it is Spring and it feels like it, I posted a light-purple kusudama arrangement with a Spring vibe.
I choose to fold the Rafaelita model, designed by Ekaterina Lukasheva. I made this model a long time ago (https://cridiana-origami.blogspot.com/2011/07/just-little-bit-of-blue.html) and I hated the assembly of the modules, so everyt ime I wanted to fold a kusudama I just skipped it. But in December I saw a lot of folds for this model and I just adored them. I said: let's give it another chance. That's why I gave it another chance and it took me almost 3 months to finish the arrangement. The modules are easy to fold but the assembly was again very difficult (especially for the 90 modules variant). But it really grew on me, so I want to fold it again (but only the 30 modules variant).
I accessorized it with Dianara flowers and of course, the never-missing Mandarin bird designed by Simon Anderson.
